About

I plan to finish my Ph.D. in 2011. My interests include digital humanities, shame theory, theory of mind, 19th century literature, psychology, and religion, Charles Dickens, George Eliot, 19th century periodicals, the theory of the novel, and 19th century utopian movements and communities.  I am especially interested in the depictions of shame in British Victorian novels. I am currently researching shame in 19th century Victorian periodicals.
